Nice clean rooms and comfortable beds Great service. We booked with Expedia and the whoever did the site said the room was non-smoking. When we got to the hotel the lady informed us that it was indeed a smoking room(3rd floor and up is smoking) but she happily switched our room for us(which was very important as neither of us can stand the smell of cigarette smoke) Also they had free popcorn in the lobby that's *really* good
I had a great time at the Super 8. It was affordable, the nice lady at the front desk was extremely friendly with my friend, the AC was ice cold, and the neighbors seemed really nice. Great memories and lots of laughs. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Don’t trust the haters only leaving 1 star. I think they’re spam bots from the RamKota.
I fish a lot around Pierre and this hotel is usually where I stay due to price and proximity. Fairly cheap. Overall I've been happy but there are times improvements could be made to a few areas. Nothing so far has made me rethink it as my primary place to stay while I'm there. It's rated around a 3 and I think that's fair. Staff has always been friendly to me
Super nice and helpful at all times. Have stayed quite frequently and have always catered to my needs. Lost a sentimental knife and they found it and kept it for me till my next return week later. Definitely will continue to stay here.
Front desk service was lacking as the staff assumed I knew how to find my room. Aside from that lack of welcome the room was compact but full-service; even a safe which I wish was in a Super 8 in Coos Bay, OR where I "lost" $200 ... In my stay here as in most motels, the bathroom was fine; but a well-placed grab bar would be better. There was an ample breakfast bar that offered lotsa choices from apples to make your own waffles and sausage gravy. Overall, a good, economical place for a road trip rest stop.
I've stayed here often, front desk has always been kind and friendly. Yes does smell like stale smoke in some rooms, and only one time i was disappointed... . the AC wasn't working the best. This weekend i got their suite with the kitchenet. The AC worked so good i had turn it off. It is a nice suite. Yes the other rooms are a bit smaller but worth the price.
The motel was clean, quiet and felt safe. As a solo traveler that is always an important matter. One thing to mention is my room was very very small if that is important to you. Breakfast is offered pretty basic items. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, toast, and juices.
I had a good stay -- I'd stay again. My room was small, but the AC was super strong. The breakfast was excellent. There were some sketchy people hanging around the back, but I believe they were the workers from the Mexican restaurant next door. Overall, this is an excellent economy option.
